our story
It all started with a passion for cheese. Our founder, Lydiana Carvalho, grew up in Brazil, where her father owned a dairy factory. She spent most of her childhood surrounded by cheese and other dairy products. Her father taught her everything he knew about cheese-making, and Lydiana quickly developed a deep love for this artisanal craft.
After moving to the United States, Lydiana discovered a whole new world of cheese. She tasted cheeses from all over the world and fell in love with the diverse flavors and textures. But it wasn’t until she created a cheese board for a friend’s baby shower that she realized her talent for arranging cheese boards.
Family & friends
Lydiana’s friends and family were impressed with her cheese boards and encouraged her to start a business. And so, Minas Boards was born.
From the beginning, our mission has been to provide high-quality, artisanal cheese boards using only the freshest ingredients. We use locally sourced and organic produce whenever possible to create beautiful, delicious, and sustainable cheese boards.
As we continue to grow, we remain committed to our values of quality, sustainability, and community. We are grateful for the support of our customers and look forward to sharing our love of cheese with you.
